- Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure performed by a trained technician in which hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the tooth surface. The gel helps lighten and remove stains and discolouration from the tooth.
HOW DOES TEETH WHITENING WORK?
- The combination of LED light and whitening gel opens the tooth pores, penetrating the outer tooth surface. The oxygen molecules from the gel react with the discoloured molecules in your teeth breaking the bond allowing the tooth to lighten.

ABOUT OUR GEL
- We use hydrogen peroxide gel
- We do 4 sessions of 15 minutes = 1 full treatment
- We use hydrogen peroxide as its most effective due to its ability to pass easily into the tooth surface and break down the stain
- Average results 4-12 shades lighter
- Results will roughly last 6-8 months if client is NOT a smoker
- 4-6 months if the client is a smoker
Pre-Care
- Brush and floss before treatment.
- Avoid staining foods (coffee, wine) for 24–48 hours before.
- Ensure teeth and gums are healthy; treat any dental issues first.
Post-Care
- Avoid stain-causing foods and drinks (coffee, tea, wine) for 24–48 hours.
- Use a straw for beverages to minimize contact with teeth.
- Brush gently with non-abrasive or desensitizing toothpaste.
- Maintain oral hygiene and drink water frequently.
- Gel is still activated in the pores and will continue to lighten for the next 8hrs
- Avoid cold drinks/food as it can trigger sensitivity since the pores do not close right away!
- If sensitivity occurs, take Advil or Tylenol as directed
- Avoid brushing teeth for 45 mins after treatment and avoid mouthwash (coloured) for 24hrs
